You are right, aspartame is addictive. It has free methyl alcohol
which is classified as narcotic, causes chronic methanol poisoning,
affects the dopamine system of the brain, and causes the
addiction. Aspartame has 50% phenylalanine in it which lowers the
seizure threshold and depletes serotonin. When you lower serotonin
it triggers all types of psychiatric and behavioral problems from
bipolar and mood swings to panic attacks and suicidal
tendencies. http://www.mpwhi.com/aspartame_and_psychiatric_disorders.htm
Also aspartame makes you crave carbohydrates so you gain
weight. http://www.mpwhi.com/aspartame_makes_you_fatter.htm
All this is documented in medical texts like Aspartame Disease: An
Ignored Epidemic, www.sunsentpress.com by H. J. Roberts, M.D., and
Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills by neurosurgeon Russell Blaylock,
M.D., www.russellblaylockmd.com There is al an aspartame
documentary, Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World, www.soundandfury.tv
You should be alerted that aspartame is psycho drug and interacts
with all antidepressants. It also interacts with all drugs and
vaccines: http://www.wnho.net/aspartame_interacts.htm I would
print out these reports and take them to your physician.
Here is Dr. Blaylock's detox program: What To Do If You Have Used
Aspartame: www.wnho.net/wtdaspartame,htm I would suggest that you
subscribe to the Aspartame Information List on www.mpwhi.com just
click on the banner and we will be able to answer your questions as
you go along and help you.
